Hasco Expands In-House Production in Lüdenscheid

Hasco Hasenclever GmbH + Co KG is modernising production at its headquarters in Lüdenscheid, Germany. The company is introducing a new manufacturing concept for standard and custom plates as well as flat steel for tool and mould making.

As part of the project, Hasco is renewing its machinery and reorganising production processes, material flows and material utilisation. The aim is to increase flexibility in the production of different plate dimensions and specifications while expanding the share of products manufactured in-house at the Lüdenscheid site.

The company also expects the new production setup to shorten internal transport and production routes and improve the use of materials, machinery and manufacturing space. Hasco said the investment is intended to increase product availability and reduce production response times.

The modernised concept covers standard plates, custom plates and flat steel made from steel grades suited to tool and mould making applications. Hasco did not disclose the investment volume, additional production capacity or the timetable for completing the project.

The expansion further strengthens Lüdenscheid as the company’s central production location and is intended to support the supply of international customers from Germany.
