Rowa Masterbatch: Trend Colors for 2027 and Effect Variants

Rowa Masterbatch GmbH is presenting its interpretations of the trend colors for 2027 at Fakuma 2026. The company is showcasing the shades and complementary effect variants on sample plaques.

The colors were developed in collaboration with effect pigment manufacturer Kuncai, based on the color trends identified by Coloro and WGSN. The palette comprises six shades, combining vibrant blues, oranges and pinks with green and muted natural tones. Alongside the solid colors, variants incorporating effect pigments were developed.

"Luminous Blue" is a deep, vibrant blue that Rowa Masterbatch sees as suitable for interior design and technical devices, among other applications. "Energy Orange" combines red and yellow tones to create a bold, warm orange and is described as a color for lifestyle products. "Pop Pink" complements the palette with an intense pink featuring subtle blue or coral undertones.

"Meadowland Green" takes its cue from the color of fresh grass. The company lists cosmetics packaging, fashion and interior design as potential applications. "Clay" sits between beige, ochre and soft taupe. This natural shade is intended for interiors, consumer goods and automotive design, among other uses. "Russet Brown" is a medium-dark, warm brown with red and orange tones, which Rowa Masterbatch associates particularly with furniture and home accessories.
