Redema: Polish plastics processor Letbek renamed following acquisition

Polish plastics processor Letbek Sp. z o.o. will operate under the name Redema in the future. As announced by its Danish parent company, Matters Group, on 21 October 2026, the rebranding also includes a new visual identity and website. The move follows the acquisition of the company by Matters Group earlier this year.

According to the company, the new name is derived from "RE-DEsign MAtters" and highlights its connection to the group. Redema supports customers throughout the entire process, from product development and engineering to tooling, industrialisation, manufacturing and delivery. The company combines design support with materials expertise and production capabilities. The new brand identity is intended to provide a clearer picture of these services and the company's strategic direction.

Matters Group announced the acquisition of all shares in Letbek on 9 June 2026. The transaction was completed at the end of June, as later confirmed by law firm Wolf Theiss, which advised the seller. The acquisition announcement stated that Letbek employed around 55 people and was founded in 2018.

The company manufactures technical components and design products made from plastics and polyurethane, particularly for the premium furniture industry and the agricultural sector. Its production processes include injection moulding and PUR moulding, as well as post-processing and assembly. By combining the Polish production site with its operations in Ribe, Denmark, Matters Group aims to achieve synergies in production, purchasing and development while improving capacity utilisation and flexibility.

When announcing the acquisition, Matters Group stated that it intended to continue operating the existing company with its local management team and current workforce. The group describes the rebranding as another step in the integration of the Polish company.
