Bayer MaterialScience raises prices for polycarbonates
| Bayer MaterialScience (www.bayermaterialscience.de) has raised its global selling prices for the polycarbonate resins Makrolon®, Makroblend®, Bayblend® T and Apec® by EUR 0.15 per kilogram effective June 16, 2008. The price of Bayblend® FR is also being increased throughout the world by EUR 0.20 per kilogram. The main reason for these price rises is the continuing high level of raw material and energy costs. Customers have been informed about the changes to their cost prices. Contractual obligations already in existence at the time when the price increases came into effect will not be affected. |
