DuPont: New European Sales & Marketing Manager for DuPont™ Vespel® Parts and Shapes

Jost E. Laumeyer (38, Bild) is the new European Sales & Marketing Manager for DuPont™ Vespel® Parts and Shapes with effect from 1 July 2008. He will be located at the company’s Central European Sales & Marketing Centre in Bad Homburg, Germany. Jost succeeds Jeroen van Campen, who accepts a new role at DuPont Engineering Polymers (www.dupont.de) as sales manager with responsibility for Central Eastern Europe (excluding Czechia and Slovakia), the Middle-East and Africa.

A graduate in High Performance Material Science, Jost E. Laumeyer joined the DuPont Engineering Polymers (EP) business unit in 1995. Starting as a Design Engineer for Automotive plastic parts, he was promoted three years later to the position of Development Manager for the EP Central European Automotive industry. A move in 2001 to Dordrecht, the Netherlands, saw him take up the role of Manufacturing Area Supervisor for the Compounding and Polymerisation of DuPont™ Delrin® acetal resin. Two years later he transferred to the European Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, as European Business Marketing Manager for DuPont™ Hytrel® thermoplastic polyester elastomer until September 2005. In his most recent role , Jost E. Laumeyer held the position as Strategic Global Account Manager. He is also a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt – recently completing projects in Strategic European growth programs for DuPont’s Polymers and Elastomers businesses.
