BASF to raise prices for the plastic Styrolux in Europe
|
With immediate effect BASF (www.basf.com) will be raising its prices in Europe for Styrolux® (SBC polymer) by 150 Euro per metric ton. This measure is in addition to the increase that was announced in June 2008, because the cost of raw materials, energy and transportation has further risen. Advert The main application fields for the plastic Styrolux are transparent food packaging, blister packaging and many injection molded products in cosmetics, household and office equipment.
