Wittmann Battenfeld opens sales office in Budapest

The Wittmann Group continues to extend the scope of its activities in Hungary. On 1st March 2009, Wittmann (www.wittmann-battenfeld.com, www.wittmann-robot.hu) opened its new sales office in Pilisszentiván on the outskirts of Budapest.

This represents a major step in Wittmann Battenfeld’s determination to strengthen its market presence and to acknowledge the increasing potential of the Hungarian market. Because the sales and service network is now able to cover the whole country, the best levels of customer care are assured.

Sales Manager István Timcsák, who has responsibility for all sales activities throughout Hungary, expressed his satisfaction: “I am delighted with this additional facility in Hungary. The new sales office will enable us to react even quicker and more proficiently to the requirements of our customers. This development is the next logical step in our strategy for growth in the Hungarian market.”

Wittmann has been a successful player in the Hungarian market for many years now. The factory in Mosonmagyaróvár, set up in 1997, manufactures robots, sprue pickers and various components for the wide range of auxiliary equipment products for the global market. Wittmann is also planning further expansion of its manufacturing capacity in Hungary.
