BASF increases prices for carbonates worldwide
|
With immediate effect or as contracts allow, BASF (www.basf.com) is increasing the sales price for the carbonates • Ethylene Carbonate S • Propylene Carbonate S • Carbonate Mix 50 • Carbonate Mix 60 Advert 
worldwide by up to €100 per metric ton for deliveries to Europe and up to US$100 per metric ton or equivalents in local currencies for deliveries to North America or Asia. These price adjustments are necessary to support BASF´s ongoing efforts to assure highest levels of product and service quality to its customers globally in times of increasing raw material costs. Carbonates are chemical intermediates used in a wide range of applications in the lubricants, foundry, polyurethane and coatings industries. BASF operates a world-scale plant for the mentioned Carbonates at its Verbund site in Ludwigshafen, Germany. |
