Plast Engineering Knauff: Container System for fully automatically production of 1.5 Liter volume PET bottles

PLAST ENGINEERING KNAUFF (www.plastics-equipments.de)was established in 1971 as an enterprise dealing with development and sale of plastics manufacturing machines and complete manufacturing plants. The company has been operating world-wide for over 35 years and has now completed another development in the field of PET bottles manufacturing with direct filling.

From the delivery program for PET stretch blow moulding machines, a machine COMPACT A 4C has been installed into a 40 ft HC container (Photo). This machine manufactures up to 2,500 PET bottles per hour from PET preforms. The fully automatically produced 1.5 Liter volume PET bottles are disinfected by UV radiation and then transferred directly to the filling station. The PET bottles are automatically closed with also UV radiated caps. After closing, the PET bottles are labeled automatically and then leave the container through a window in the container wall, ready for selling drinking water PET bottles.

Several of such container systems have already been sold. At the DRINKTEC from 14.–19. September in Munich, Hall B 3 – Stand 451 we will be presenting this new container system.
