Company Profile

General-Industries Polymere GmbH (GIP) was founded in 2017 as a subsidiary of General-Industries Deutschland GmbH and has been an independent company specializing in non-foam recycling since 2023. At two locations - Kassel and Eschwege - and with a large number of partner companies, General-Industries Polymere produces high-quality regrind for the plastics processing industry using innovative systems.

GIP processes a wide variety of production residues/waste into regrind. These include start-up lumps of all sizes, missing parts, punching waste and injection-molded parts with a focus on the automotive industry. Load carriers/reusable containers are also processed into high-quality regrind according to color and material.

For us - GID and GIP - plastics recycling is not a job, but a mission to which we have dedicated ourselves as a family business. That is why we not only grind and granulate plastics, but have also been involved in the separation of difficult-to-recycle composites (multi-component parts) for several years and continue to develop this further. This is the only way we can reuse the valuable raw materials in new products for the plastics processing industry for as long as possible. For us, sustainability is not just a word we have written on our banner, but something we live by every day. So it is only natural for us to rely 100% on the use of renewable energies - both in administration and production.
