Husky Injection Molding Systems (www.husky.ca) will exhibit a wide range of new purpose-built technologies at this year’s Fakuma. Husky’s exhibit will focus on several core areas, including hot runners, thinwall packaging and closures. “We’re looking forward to Fakuma as it will provide us with an opportunity to reinforce our strategy of differentiation,” Volker Neuber, Husky’s Vice President for Western Europe, said. “Today, Husky is very focused on offering customers a complete solution — with integrated tooling, machine, auxiliaries and controls — that is purpose-built for their specific requirements. In addition, we offer 24-hour technical support and 3-year parts and leakage warranties to our customers as part of a well-rounded support package aimed at maximizing system uptime and reducing operational costs.” The Husky stand will feature new high-speed packaging machine technology and numerous new hot runner technologies targeted at a wide range of applications. Husky’s hot runner displays will communicate how hot runners support the closure and thinwall packaging industry’s high productivity and quality demands. A dynamic display will show how UltraFlow technology delivers the industry’s fastest color change. A dedicated packaging nozzle – the Ultra Packaging nozzle – able to manage the high pressure and throughput requirements demanded by thinwall packaging applications will also be on display. Other new technologies will include a tight access valve gate ideal for medical and closure applications, and a no-drool split sprue bar. Visitors to Husky’s booth will also see the on-going efforts the company is making to provide exceptional customer care, including a new predictive maintenance program. Husky is now able to provide customers with the tools necessary to predict the need for preventative maintenance to help reduce machine downtime. “At the heart of each Husky system is an application-specific Husky hot runner, supported by the industry’s most developed service and sales network,” Neuber added. “Coming off a very successful NPE in Chicago, we’re looking forward to showcasing our new technologies to the European market.” Fakuma 2006, Friedrichshafen, 17.-21.10.2006, Hall A5, Stand 5104 |
