Wittmann Gruppe: New Subsidiary in Morocco with Own Sales and Service Center

According to the Wittmann Group, they are seeing increased interest from the Maghreb region in their machines and systems for injection molding. The company notes that demand for injection molding technology in North Africa is generally growing. The Wittmann Group is now responding to this trend by establishing its own sales and service subsidiary in Morocco.

The new subsidiary is located in Casablanca, by far Morocco's largest industrial and port city. Morocco is, in turn, the most interesting market for European manufacturers of injection molding machines, as Michael Wittmann, owner and CEO of the Wittmann Group, reported at a press conference for K 2025. Until now, the group was only present there with a commercial agency in Tangier. Other relevant countries in North Africa for the group are Egypt and—at a slight distance—Algeria and Tunisia.

As Michael Wittmann further explained, the automotive industry in Morocco has been growing for several years, giving it a key role in Africa as a whole. The Wittmann Group has been able to participate in this development from the beginning, and the new branch is therefore built upon many existing, close customer relationships. "With the new branch, we offer our customers on-site even greater proximity and service," said Michael Wittmann. To this end, the company has set up its own spare parts warehouse in Casablanca. Furthermore, the branch has a showroom where customers can experience and test many Wittmann products and technologies live after only a short journey. The journey is short partly because about three-quarters of the Moroccan (automotive) industry is located in the greater Casablanca area, which is now home to almost eight million people—one-fifth of Morocco's total population of just under 40 million.

Wittmann Maroc Started in September
The operational activities of Wittmann Maroc Sarl began on September 1, 2025. Redouane Soukrat was appointed Managing Director. "We are delighted to have gained Mr. Soukrat, a very experienced injection molding expert who already has excellent contacts with the locally established automotive supplier industry," emphasized Michael Wittmann. Among the primary goals for Redouane Soukrat, who previously worked at companies including Leoni, Faurecia, and the engineering service provider Alten, is the expansion of the network of qualified service technicians in the region, in addition to sales.
