Sales Network Expanded in Japan With the appointment of Sun Earth Co., Ltd. as its official partner for the Japanese market, Untha strengthens its presence in Asia. Sun Earth takes over the distribution of the entire Untha product portfolio, plans customized system solutions, and is responsible for service and maintenance work. The partnership also includes the training of service technicians at the Untha headquarters in Austria, as well as close cooperation with the team there. The expansion of sales in Japan is taking place against the backdrop of increasing demand for environmental technologies, particularly for waste-to-energy plants and the recycling of valuable materials. Sun Earth operates six service branches nationwide, enabling comprehensive support across the country. The XR, ZR, and RS series shredders are considered particularly suitable for the demands of the Japanese market, especially in the context of "Zero-Waste" initiatives and circular economy projects. Ten Years of Untha Germany The German subsidiary, Untha Deutschland GmbH, celebrated its ten-year anniversary in 2025. These include a new location in Gemünden, Bavaria, as well as the expansion of the sales and service team. The goal is to improve customer proximity and provide more intensive support to existing and potential customers throughout Germany. Effective May 1, 2025, the sales team, led by Daniel Wresnik, was supplemented by specialist consultants Michael Nowak, Daniel Hehrlein, and Clemens Jäger. After-sales service is also being reinforced with new personnel to make maintenance, repairs, and spare parts supply more efficient. Furthermore, customers are given the opportunity to test machines under real conditions before purchase - either in the Untha Test Center in Salzburg or directly at their own facility - as part of live demonstrations or material tests. Strategic Focus on Customer Orientation and System Solutions With both developments, Untha is pursuing a clear strategy: the expansion of its international presence, coupled with intensive local support through specialized partners and subsidiaries. In both Japan and Germany, the focus is on tailor-made system solutions for complex applications in industrial waste recycling. This includes, among other things, the processing of municipal, commercial, and industrial waste, document and data destruction, as well as the treatment of hazardous waste and the production of alternative fuels. With over 15,000 systems installed worldwide and decades of experience in the development of 1-, 2-, and 4-shaft shredders, Untha considers itself one of the established providers in the field of industrial shredding technology.
