According to preliminary figures, the Lapp Group increased its revenue to over €1.9 billion in the 2025 financial year (October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025), thereby regaining the 2023 level. In the previous year, the provider of cable and connection technology generated €1.8 billion in revenue. The Asia region made a significant contribution to the growth, with above-average rising demand in India, China, and South Korea. The company also recorded positive development on the American continent despite uncertainties in trade policy. In Europe, however, business remained largely stable due to high costs and a weak economy. CEO Matthias Lapp, who leads the family business in the third generation, emphasized the importance of the global setup: Consistent internationalization ensures stability in a challenging environment. Most recently, Lapp further expanded its market presence with acquisitions in China and Brazil. For Europe, and especially the home market of Germany, Lapp announced structural adjustments to strengthen competitiveness. For the current 2026 financial year, the company expects further growth in Asia and on the American continent, while the outlook in Europe remains subdued. At the same time, Lapp sees positive momentum from future industries such as renewable energies, battery storage systems, data centers, and intralogistics, which are increasingly contributing to revenue. As of the balance sheet date, the Lapp Group employed approximately 5,700 people worldwide. More information: www.lappkabel.de |
