The Barnes Group Inc. has completed the separation into two independent companies, as announced in January. Under the umbrella of the new owners, companies managed by Apollo Funds, "Barnes Aerospace" and the "Industrial Solutions Group" are being established. Both units have their own management structures and financial frameworks. With the separation, Barnes aims to develop its different business segments more strategically. Barnes Aerospace will independently capitalize on growth opportunities in the aerospace industry, while the Industrial Solutions Group will focus on precision solutions and automation technologies for industrial applications. The Industrial Solutions Group, led by Thomas J. Hook, combines the Molding Solutions, Force & Motion Control, and Automation business units. The Molding Solutions segment includes well-known brands such as Synventive, Männer, Foboha, Thermoplay, Gammaflux, and Priamus. As a standalone entity, the company plans to expand its product portfolio, enter new markets, and drive the development of advanced solutions for industrial applications. Barnes Aerospace, under the leadership of CEO George Whittier, focuses on the manufacturing, repair, and overhaul of complex engine components for civil and military applications. The company plans to invest in capacity, personnel, and strategic acquisitions to strengthen its position across the entire engine supply chain. More information: www.barnesgroupinc.com |
