Ticona teams up with Resin Express for sales to central and eastern Europe

New distribution concept

Polymer producer Ticona (www.ticona.com) will be cooperating with Resin Express (www.resinexpress.com) as its sales partner in central and eastern Europe from January 2007. As an international distributor of plastics, rubbers and chemical raw materials for many years, Resin Express offers sales and logistics competence in the region and the relevant polymer, machine and processing know-how. This agreement marks the first step in the restructuring and strategic realignment of the cooperation with distributors in central and eastern Europe.

This strategic sales partnership will enable Ticona to strengthen its position in Russia, Belarus, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, the SlovakRepublic, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland and Austria. “Our partnership with Resin Express will bring us even closer to these high-growth markets in the future, because we are two market leaders working together, with business philosophies that complement each other very well,” explained Michael Sauer, Ticona’s European Distribution Manager. “Reliable, fast delivery and a sure touch in dealing with cultural sensitivities in central and eastern Europe are the trump cards of Resin Express,” continued Michael Sauer.
