Plastpol 2009: Polish exhibition of plastics opens in one month

This is the largest exhibition of plastics not only in Poland, but in all of Eastern Europe, and also one of the most important events of the year for the world´s companies in this industry. For the last few years, Plastpol (www.plastpol.com) has been at the top of the Polish Trade Fairs Corporation´s list of events with the largest number of foreign exhibitors. The most up-to-date processing technology, machines and equipment for plastics processing are merely a small part of what will be on show at the end of May at the Kielce Trade Fairs.

Every year at the Plastpol - International Fair of Plastics Processing, almost everything is presented, from the early stages of plastic production right up to its disposal and recycling. Above all, you can find here machines and equipment for processing plastics, moulds and tools used in the industry, plastics, component parts, recycling technology and the application of IT systems in plastics processing. Companies involved in plastic packaging also offer their technological solutions and finished products. The four days of events in the halls of the Kielce Trade Fairs are also an excellent opportunity to witness entire technological processes. Plastpol is where novelties and best sellers from the world market are presented.

Plastpol is the most international of trade fair events - it is ranked top of the Polish Trade Fairs Corporation´s list. The exhibition halls of Kielce´s Trade Fairs centre are home to presentations by leaders on the world market and top producers and distributors of plastics - Bayer, Charmilles, Egyplast, Lumel, Mann+Hummel and Siemens.

Kielce´s Plastpol fair has a certificate from the UFI, the most important international organisation in the exhibition industry, consisting of over 300 trade fair companies from all over the world. For five years, the Kielce Trade Fairs has organised the Plastukraina International Fair of Plastics Processing in Kiev, the eastern equivalent of Plastpol.

Combining practice with theory, the International Fair of Plastics Processing is, as always, accompanied by a rich programme of industry meetings, attended by hundreds of participants annually.

In 2008, the International Fair of Plastics Processing was attended by 16,000 people.
