At this year´s Chinaplas in Shanghai, the Troisdorf Germany-based Reifenhäuser Group will be present with not less than four companies, and for the first time also with the new Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion in which the forces of both companies have successfully been pooled since August 2009. On its fair stand additional companies of the group will be present, too. Reifenhäuser Extrusion, Reiloy Metall and Reimotec, will be demonstrating important correlations of extrusion technologies and in this way show their brilliant colours on the markets of the Asian region. According to Ulrich Reifenhäuser, CEO of the Reifenhäuser Group: "Our success in this region clearly shows how strong remains the growth potential of these markets on the one hand and how good is the acceptance of our pooled forces and our technological edge on the other hand. It is this region where our company sees a great deal of success in the future - and we will bear this in mind in every respect!" Market shares in Asia gained Over the past few months, the Reifenhäuser Group has been able to gain important market shares in Asia despite very tough competition. A big Reifenhäuser Kiefel Extrusion project for the delivery of a high-end blown film line to a key customer was successfully signed as well as the sales contract for an ultra-modern cast film line that will be supplied by Reifenhäuser Extrusionto an important customer in Indonesia. In the same period, two additional RHS blown film lines were sold to Australia. High symbolic importance for the global markets An end of the global crisis can be recognized whereas its symptoms will still continue to have an effect on the markets for a long time. The fact that the Asian region has coped with this crisis in a better and faster way means a significant impetus that fuels the growth for the rest of the world. Therefore, great importance is attributed to these markets with regard to an economic recovery since investment activities asking for value-added products and high performances promise a long-term stability of production volumes. Reifenhäuser will consistently support this trend and further expand its role as the world´s most important and innovative extrusion technology company.
