Susonity: Effect Pigments and Recycling Solutions

Susonity, a global supplier of high-performance effect pigments, will present effect pigments, functional additives and solutions for plastic surfaces at Fakuma 2026. Products on display will include the “Iriodin”, “Xirallic”, “Miraval”, “Colorstream”, “Pyrisma” and “Iriotec” product families.

One focus will be on laser marking applications for traceability, brand identification and product protection.

The technology enables high-contrast markings to be applied directly to plastic parts and can be integrated into existing production processes.

As a new product, Susonity will introduce “Iriodin” SPK. The effect pigment creates a grainy, visually textured surface and is intended for applications in automotive interiors, packaging and consumer electronics.

The company will also showcase application projects relating to the circular economy, recyclability and the requirements of the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The focus will be on how effect pigments can be combined with closed material loops and increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.

The trade fair presentation is aimed at masterbatch and compound manufacturers, plastics processors, as well as brand owners and designers in the packaging, automotive and consumer goods sectors.
