Petainer, a specialist PET packaging firm, invests additional into its Nordic plant in Lidköping/Sweden. Petainer, after its recent successful Husky installation is to invest further millions into new injection moulding plant and machinery to boost its production capacities within the Group’s Lidköping site. The new injection equipment (Husky HPP) will also enable the plant to run in a more ecological way. This investment fits perfect into the „Company DANN“ and secures that Petainer provides environmentally friendly PET packaging solutions. The Group CEO Nigel Pritchard claims: „…this investment follows on the heels of our initial investment plan from the second half of 2012, and we will be following this up in 2013 with yet further investments. This is an exciting time in our development and the investment in the latest technology is a demonstration of our confidence in our Lidkoping business…..“ „…the equipment will enable the Petainer Group to apply the latest green methodologies and will support our current product portfolio and expansion…“, says Pritchard.
