At Fakuma 2026, Husky will showcase an integrated approach to injection molding applications. The company will focus on the interaction between the injection molding machine, hot runner system and mold control, with particular emphasis on packaging and medical applications. Its exhibition portfolio will also include mold technology, temperature control solutions and digital service offerings.Integrating Machine, Hot Runner and Mold Control Husky brings together machine, hot runner and control technologies in a coordinated melt-delivery system. The aim is to reduce process variation in injection molding and improve repeatability. According to the company, this level of system integration can also help shorten cycle times, reduce material and energy consumption, and provide greater flexibility when processing different materials and applications. Husky highlights applications including thin- and thick-walled containers, buckets, cutlery and products made from bioresin-based materials. The underlying technical approach is centered on closer coordination between the machine, melt-delivery system, mold and process controls. Medical Applications and “Schöttli” Mold Technology Another major focus is injection molding systems for medical applications. Husky is targeting products such as prefilled syringes, auto-injectors and pen injectors, blood collection tubes, reaction vessels, pipette tips and Petri dishes. For mold technology, the company points to its “Schöttli” brand. These mold solutions are designed for the precise and efficient production of plastic components used in medical and diagnostic applications. Husky is therefore addressing applications that place particularly high demands on dimensional accuracy, process stability and consistent high-volume production. Condition Monitoring and Service With its “Husky Advantage+Elite” service program, Husky combines real-time machine monitoring with technical support. The program is divided into five service levels, ranging from basic machine monitoring and remote support to cross-site performance management. Husky also highlights its ISO/IEC 27001 certification. The standard sets out requirements for information security management systems and is particularly relevant to digitally connected service and remote-monitoring solutions. Husky’s presence at Fakuma 2026 is aimed both at improving the performance of existing production lines and at supporting new system concepts for packaging and medical applications. Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd. operates under the “Husky Technologies” brand. The company is headquartered in Bolton, Ontario, Canada, where it also operates key manufacturing facilities.
