Omya Performance Polymer Distribution is presenting the development of its international polymer distribution business and the portfolio of selected supply partners at Fakuma 2026. One year after the organization was launched, the focus is on its collaboration with Ineos Olefins & Polymers Europe and Chimei, as well as on combining a globally coordinated offering with regional technical advice.Established in 2025, the distribution organization brings together Omya’s engineering materials distribution activities and Distrupol’s polymer distribution business. It serves customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, North and South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. According to the company, it works with more than 60 polymer manufacturers and other supply partners worldwide. Its offering includes high-performance polymers, engineering plastics, commodity polymers, rubber polymers and additives. Regional portfolios are tailored to local market requirements. The offering includes specialty polyolefins, “Eltex MED” grades intended for medical applications, “Recycl-IN” materials containing recycled content, and polyolefins with bio-based feedstock content attributed through mass balance accounting. Chimei is represented as a global partner with ABS, polycarbonate, PC/ABS, ASA, SAN and elastomer materials. Selected materials from its sustainability-focused “Ecologue” portfolio will also be on display. Other partners represented at the stand include Avient, BASF, Celanese, DuPont, EMS-Grivory, Lucite International, LyondellBasell and SK chemicals. The trade fair offering from the ten partners covers engineering plastics, styrenic plastics, polyolefins, thermoplastic elastomers, rubbers and rubber additives, compounds, additives and modifiers, as well as materials for circularity concepts and bio-based solutions.
