SKZ: First German Training Centre in Middle East for HDPE Pipe Welding Technology
 The new Training Centre in Dubai is a fully equipped facility that offers theoretical courses covering various topics related to plastics, as well as a state of the art welding work shop, providing you with practical training and hands-on experience in welding and testing techniques for pipes and plastic products. Advert The training program is specially designed for engineers and consultants involved in the design, specifications and supervision of plastic pipeline projects, site supervisors responsible for monitoring onsite welding activities and welding technicians performing onsite welding and installation of pipe networks.
“The SKZ Institute certifies over 3.000 plastic welding professionals yearly in accordance with the DVS Standards and under the supervision of the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW)”, said Dipl. Eng. Harald Huberth, Managing Director of SKZ Institute GmbH, “Thus, SKZ institute in contributing to the safety of Gas and Water supply networks” he added. On the other hand, Mr. Reda Ashkar, General Manager of BMC Gulf commented: “As we witness a rapid growth in the construction of piping networks to cope with the ever increasing demand for gas and water in the region, we realized that the major failures to pipelines are mainly the result of bad installation practice or insufficient know how in welding and installation techniques.
