Plastpol 2018: Polish plastics trade fair still on the road to success

The 22nd Plastpol, International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber Processing, will take place from 22-25 May 2018 in Kielce, Central Poland.

As a pure B2B event, the event is regarded as one of the leading trade fairs of the plastics industry in Central-Eastern Europe. For several years now, the number of exhibitions and visitors has been growing. More than 50 percent of the exhibitors come from abroad.

In 2017, 806 exhibitors from 36 countries presented new products from all sectors of the plastics industry on more than 34,000 sqm at the 21st Plastpol. In addition, almost 19,000 trade visitors, representatives of the trade press and representatives of trade publishers and industry-related institutions were welcomed. The organizers expect a further increase in 2018.

As in recent years, the majority of plants and machines will be presented in operating condition in 2018. Traditionally, the presentation of product groups on the topics of industrial design and patterning as well as packaging and recycling has been given extensive scope. The trade fair also focuses on the presentation of new moulds and other equipment for plastics processing.

The event, which now extends over four days, is accompanied by an extensive conference and seminar programme that focuses on various current developments and challenges in the industry. Exhibitor competitions are also held. In addition, the most attractive trade fair stands will be honoured at a festive trade fair gala.
