Plasmatreat: New President and CEO of Plasmatreat North America named

Andreas F. Stecher

Plasmatreat, supplier in atmospheric pressure plasma surface treatment technology, has appointed Andreas F. Stecher (47) in October President/CEO of Plasmatreat North America.

Andy Stecher brings along an executive career with over 28 years of international business experience in C-Level functions. Key appointments included global market leading manufacturing and distribution companies in both Germany and the United States most recently as Vice President with Rational North America, leader in commercial kitchen technology. Prior to that Andreas Stecher was Managing Director/CFO with Harting of North America, leader in interconnectivity products for industrial electrical and electronic applications.

His core strength lie in finance, operations, administration, logistics and Human Resources. He is very experienced in strategic planning, contract negotiations as well as business development and turnarounds.

Andy Stecher holds dual citizenship in the USA and Germany. He grew up in Germany but has made the US his home since 1985.

The new President and Chief Executive Officer for Plasmatreat North America will focus on better structuring a growing organization and maximizing operational synergies through all locations in Canada and the USA.

Stecher and his team will strengthen existing customer relationships and create an enhanced foundation for future business development. The aim is to further boost local industry´s awareness and understanding of the abilities of Plasmatreat´s Openair®-Plasma technology to solve surface related problems prior to bonding, printing or painting processes.
