New technology for electro fusion joints in polyethylene pipes
|
An Italian SME located in Sicily has developed a new technique to reduce 1) the cost of repairs of polyethylene (PE) pipe systems by developing effective non-destructive testing (NDT) systems and 2) the risk to the environment. It is an inspection standard that allows flaws to be assessed based on their effect on the performance of welded joint.
