VDMA: Russia an Important Market for Plastics and Rubber Machinery
German Exports to Russia during the current period (January to October 2010) only reached a value of 76.6 Mio. EUR, which is a decline in shipments of 20.7 % compared to the same period in 2009. Russia stays on third place in the list of the most important destinations for German plastics and rubber machines after China (357 EUR) and USA (258 EUR). German Exports of Plastics and Rubber Machines to Russia As a consequence of the global economic crisis, in 2009 the worldwide exports to Russia only reached a value of 321 Mio. EUR. Compared to the previous year, this is a drastic decline in shipments of 49.2%. Advert 
 World Exports of Plastics and Rubber Machines to Russia Germany remains No. 1 of the most important suppliers of plastics and rubber machines to Russia with a share of 42.2 % of the total export, followed by Italy (15.6%) und China (7.9%).
