Engel: More performance throughout entire range of machines

The features common to all the machine models presented by Engel Austria GmbH (www.engel.at) at this year´s Fakuma are performance improvements achieved through the continuous development and extension of Engel´s range of well-proven machines. With four new models, this Austrian injection moulding machine manufacturer will be presenting the current versions of the series ENGEL VICTORY, ENGEL E-MOTION and ENGEL DUO and the latest addition to the ENGEL SPEED series first introduced at last year´s Fakuma:

• the new ENGEL VICTORY Focus small-capacity machine derived from the fourth generation of Engel´s range of tiebarless machines but conceived specially for conventional injection moulding applications within the clamping force range of 250 to 800 kN,

• the ENGEL E-MOTION 100 Combi, which extends the scope of applications of the ENGEL E-MOTION range of all-electric machines to include multicomponent precision injection moulding,

• the ENGEL DUO 560 Advanced, which extends the performance range of the ENGEL DUO series of large-capacity machines equipped with two-platen clamping units and

• the new model 280 (2,800 kN clamping force) of the fast-cycling ENGEL SPEED series, additionally equipped with a special wide-platen clamping unit.

This demonstration of Engel machines at Fakuma will be rounded off by a presentation of the comprehensive services offered by the Engel Training Centre.

With the second injection unit mounted in piggyback fashion on the first unit – besides the conventional "L" and "V" arrangements – Engel now offers the full range of injection unit configurations for all-electric machines, too. Machine variants with up to three injection units in freely selectable configurations are now available.
