Lanxess: Price increase for inorganic pigments

Specialty chemicals company Lanxess is imposing temporary inflation surcharges for its inorganic pigments worldwide with immediate effect. The reason for this is mainly the massive increase in energy costs for electricity, gas and steam worldwide. Prices will rise by 300 euros per metric ton for iron oxide pigments and chrome oxide pigments from all production sites - or the equivalent amount in national currency.

Advert

The Lanxess Inorganic Pigments business unit (IPG) is considered to be the world's largest manufacturer of synthetic iron oxides and a leading producer of inorganic chrome oxides. These products have a track record going back many decades as colorants for building materials, paints and coatings, plastics, paper and other applications. These high-tinting-strength inorganic pigments are produced according to strict sustainability criteria.
