Interplast Kunststoffe GmbH, based in Haiterbach, Germany, introduces its new sustainable series of structured core panels, named "Triplex EcoLine." This series is composed of 100 percent recycled polypropylene sourced from post-industrial raw materials, aiming to provide excellent material properties with a minimal carbon footprint. The new structured core panels distinguish themselves through an extremely low weight, remarkable pressure and impact resistance, outstanding chemical resistance, and good thermal insulation properties. Additionally, the material is rot-resistant and moisture-resistant. For many years, Interplast Kunststoffe has offered its "NextLoop" service, facilitating the return, recycling, and reintroduction of products into the value chain at the end of their lifecycle. In 2020, Interplast Kunststoffe expanded this service by integrating the recycling company Infinex Repoly from Thuringia, Germany. Repoly produces pure PP-regenerates from post-industrial raw materials. These regenerates are utilized in the production of "Triplex EcoLine" structured core panels. The panels are typically manufactured in anthracite, black, and white, with other colors available as an option. In the case of alternative colors, the panels are crafted from a combination of regenerates and new material. Additional customer-specific requirements, such as lamination with foams, films, and non-wovens, can be accommodated. More information: interplast.de, repoly.de |
