Wittmann Technology Spain: New showroom opened

Wittmann Technology Spain opened a new showroom in Ibi, near Alicante, on 13 and 14 March 2024. The company welcomed 65 visitors to the grand opening.

Wittmann Technology Spain's new showroom, Wittmann Levante, was created to better serve the south-eastern Spanish market, which accounts for around 30 per cent of the Spanish thermoplastics market.

A SmartPrimus 180 servo-hydraulic machine, an all-electric EcoPower 110, the Primus 16 and W921 robotic models and a wide range of peripheral equipment were exhibited at the Wittmann Levante opening ceremony.

Ignacio Puyuelo, Product Manager for Injection Moulding Technology at Wittmann Technology Spain, provides information on innovations to increase the energy efficiency of injection moulding machines.

Wittmann Levante was officially opened on 13 March 2024 by the Managing Director of Wittmann Technology Spain, Salvador Gracia, and the company's Sales Manager, Yoel Vaca. Afterwards, Ignacio Puyuelo, Product Manager for Injection Moulding Technology at Wittmann Technology Spain, gave a presentation to inform visitors about innovations to increase the energy efficiency of injection moulding machines.

On 14 March 2024, José R. Lerma from Biesterfeld Ibérica had his say. He spoke about the current challenges and problems facing the plastics injection moulding industry. Demonstrations of the R8 and R9 robot controllers and the Unilog B8X machine controller rounded off the programme.

Markus Wolfram and Jochen Pernsteiner, the international sales managers of Wittmann Technology and Wittmann Battenfeld respectively, also took part in the event and were pleased about the increased support for the southern Spanish market.

The SmartPrimus 180, a central material handling system, and various temperature control units were also sold during the opening event.
