HK Cosmetic Packaging, an expert in injection molding, thermoset compression molding, injection blow molding, screen printing, and hot foil stamping, specializes in plastic packaging for the international cosmetics industry. Since 1975, the company has consistently relied on injection molding technology from Arburg. The new anniversary machine, an Allrounder 720 S with a clamping force of 3,200 kN and a size 1,300 injection unit, will be used to produce thick-walled cream jars made of PET with wall thicknesses of up to ten millimeters. The system is automated with a linear Multilift robotic system and integrated into an existing production line. In total, HK Cosmetic Packaging currently operates around 85 Allrounder machines with clamping forces ranging from 250 kN to 3,200 kN, many of them equipped with automation solutions. Together with Arburg, the company has also developed and implemented a turnkey system for the fully automated production of cosmetic jars with lids. The anniversary celebration was attended by representatives of HK Cosmetic Packaging, including Managing Director Christian Abicht and Production Manager Stefan Mayer, as well as Arburg executives such as Sales Managing Director Tobias Baur and Regional Sales Manager Andreas Koch.
