Delta Tecnic: Exclusive Negotiations for the Acquisition of French Masterbatch Manufacturer Polytechs

Global Polymer Solutions S.L. (“Delta Tecnic”), an independently managed investment subsidiary of Investindustrial Growth III SCSp, has entered exclusive negotiations to acquire all shares of Polytechs Financière SAS and its subsidiaries. The potential transaction, which concerns the full takeover of the French specialist in masterbatches and compounds, remains subject to standard conditions, including completion of the works council consultation procedure in France and approval from relevant regulatory authorities.

Polytechs, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Cany-Barville (Normandy), is a well-established partner to polymer producers and compounders. The company provides customised tolling and semi-tolling services and offers a broad range of proprietary masterbatches. Its activities are supported by advanced R&D capabilities and technical expertise, enabling customers to produce specialty compounds, masterbatches, and blends. Polytechs also supplies proprietary additive masterbatches for sectors including wire and cable, energy, and food packaging.

The planned acquisition would expand Delta Tecnic’s service and product portfolio, adding specialty tolling capabilities and additional proprietary additive masterbatches. It would also enhance the Group’s presence in the French market, while giving Polytechs access to Delta Tecnic’s established commercial networks in Spain, Italy, and Mexico.

Polytechs would be Delta Tecnic’s second add-on acquisition since September 2024, following the integration of IFG, a producer of additive masterbatches. With this step, the Group aims to further strengthen its position as an independent European provider of specialty thermoplastic solutions for a wide range of end-use markets.

Following completion of the transaction, Delta Tecnic expects combined annual revenues of around €140 million and would operate eight production sites across Spain, Italy, France, and Mexico, broadening and reinforcing its industrial footprint.
