Vecoplan: Dr. Ralf Guckert Appointed Chairman of the Management Board

Following the appointment of Eric Jaschke as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in December 2025, Vecoplan AG, a manufacturer of machinery and systems for the shredding, conveying, and processing of primary and secondary raw materials in production and recycling cycles, is reorganizing its executive leadership team. Dr. Ralf Guckert has assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He succeeds Werner Berens, who had led the company since 2012 and stepped down from his role on the Management Board on January 30, 2026, for personal reasons.

Dr. Guckert intends to focus the strategic direction of the internationally operating company particularly on advancing digitalization and strengthening customer orientation. The aim is to further expand existing digitalization concepts and to place greater emphasis on market requirements across the various customer segments.

The 60-year-old holds a doctorate in atomic and nuclear physics and began his professional career in scientific research in the United States, where he worked for several years. He later transitioned into the business sector, joining a German software company, where he quickly assumed leadership responsibilities and subsequently served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). His career later took him to Ericsson, among other companies, where he worked as Head of Business Support Systems.

In addition, Dr. Guckert was a long-standing member of the Supervisory Board of Max Automation SE. In 2021, he assumed operational responsibility there as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Managing Director. In this role, he played a key part in the development of Vecoplan AG. With his appointment as CEO, he is now responsible for the company’s overall strategic and operational management.
