![]() A handshake between Markus Huber-Lindinger (Erema) and Arvind Mehta (Amtec) underscores their joint efforts to sustainably strengthen the skilled workforce needed for India’s plastics recycling industry - (Photo: Aimpa). The new center will be located at Amtec in Mumbai and is intended to meet the growing demand for qualified personnel in plastics recycling. It will primarily target machine operators and supervisors. A 72-hour training course is planned, combining theoretical instruction with practical hands-on sessions. For the practical part of the program, Erema will provide an “Intarema 605 TE” recycling system. According to the company, the machine has a throughput capacity of 50 kg/h to 100 kg/h and will be used to give participants hands-on training under conditions similar to those in industry. Amtec will be responsible for developing the course content, while Erema will contribute its technical expertise. The program will cover the operation and maintenance of modern recycling systems. According to the partners, participants will be prepared for jobs in the recycling industry or able to build on their existing knowledge. Amtec will also act as the link to industry, supporting job placement opportunities with member companies and recycling businesses. With the new training center, the partners are responding to the rising demand for skilled workers in India’s recycling sector. More information: www.erema-group.com |
