Wittmann will present the Tempro primus 90 temperature controller for the first time at Fakuma 2026. The new model is part of the Primus product range and is designed for applications requiring precise temperature control without additional features. One major change compared with previous versions concerns the user interface. The previous seven-segment display has been replaced by a 3.5-inch TFT LCD color display. This is intended to provide a clear overview of operating parameters and simplify navigation through the menus. The Tempro primus 90 is designed for quick commissioning. Once positioned and connected, the unit can be put into operation without extensive configuration. PT1000 sensors are used for temperature measurement, supporting precise control of the process temperature. To increase cooling capacity, the temperature controller features a cooling coil with larger pipe diameters. This allows a higher coolant flow rate and enables heat to be removed from the temperature control circuit more quickly. With its combination of a redesigned user interface, precise temperature measurement and optimized cooling technology, the Tempro primus 90 is aimed in particular at standardized temperature control applications where reliable control and straightforward operation are key requirements. Dedicated presentation area for Primus systems At Fakuma 2026, Wittmann will showcase several units from the Primus range in a dedicated presentation area. The focus will be on applications along the material flow chain – from drying and conveying raw materials to temperature control, automation and inline recycling. The exhibits will include the Drymax primus granulate dryer, the Tempro primus temperature controller and the S-Max primus toothed-roll granulator. The presentation will also feature a Card primus small-volume dryer, a Feedmax primus central material loader, a Primus robot and the all-electric EcoPrimus injection molding machine. The components can be used individually or combined to form an integrated production cell.
