Linhardt: Packaging Manufacturer Appoints Dr. Christian Korth as New CEO

The Linhardt Group has appointed Dr. Christian Korth as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He will take up the position on November 1, 2026, and will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of the internationally active packaging manufacturer.

Korth is currently Managing Director of Carl Zeiss Spectroscopy GmbH in Jena. He holds a doctorate in industrial engineering from the University of Karlsruhe and has more than 20 years of professional experience in technology- and industry-driven companies. His areas of expertise include strategic corporate management and the integration of technological development with industrial production.

With this change in leadership, the Linhardt Group aims to further strengthen its industrial expertise and international positioning. The new CEO’s key responsibilities will include safeguarding and improving quality and delivery reliability, as well as continuing to align the company with sustainable growth. According to the company, Korth will build on existing structures and expertise while also providing new strategic impetus.

Speaking on behalf of the shareholders, Julius von Staff-Reitzenstein described the appointment as an important strategic decision for the family-owned company. He said that Korth combines industrial experience with strategic foresight and represents both continuity and the targeted further development of the group. His leadership approach is based on clarity, trust and collaboration.

Linhardt Group GmbH is headquartered in Viechtach, Lower Bavaria, and develops and manufactures packaging solutions made from aluminium and plastic. Its product portfolio includes aluminium and plastic tubes, aerosol cans, aluminium bottles and cans, specialist packaging and application systems. The products are primarily used in the healthcare, beauty, home and industrial sectors.

Founded in 1943, the company employs around 1,800 people and operates nine locations. In addition to several production facilities in Germany, the group runs four plants in India and has sales operations in Italy and the United States. Its products are available in approximately 70 countries.

Linhardt remains family-owned in its third and fourth generations. According to the company, its development strategy is focused on long-term planning, technological advancement and resource-efficient packaging concepts.
