Rampf: Acquisition of HGIT Strengthens Mixing and Dispensing Technology in China

The Rampf Group is acquiring Chinese mixing and dispensing technology specialist HGIT Dalian Huagong Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. With the acquisition, the company is expanding its portfolio for processing polyurethane, silicone and epoxy resin systems while also strengthening its service presence in Asia and other international markets.

HGIT was founded in 2003, is headquartered in Dalian, China, and currently employs 90 people. The company develops mixing and dispensing systems, particularly for adhesive, potting and sealing applications. In the future, the company will operate as "Rampf Dispensing Technology (Dalian) Co., Ltd.". Former owner Hannah Han will remain CEO and head the new unit.

The acquisition complements Rampf's existing mixing, dispensing and automation technology portfolio. The company already offers systems for processing one- and multi-component reactive polymer systems as well as customized production systems. According to Rampf, more than 3,300 such projects have been implemented worldwide.

Strategically, the acquisition is aimed primarily at applications in the automotive and e-mobility, electronics, household appliances, filtration, medical technology and packaging sectors. In addition to mixing and dispensing technology, the expanded portfolio includes automation solutions for handling, heat treatment, assembly, joining technology, logistics and quality assurance.

At the same time, Rampf intends to use HGIT to strengthen its approach of offering materials and processing technology from a single source. Its materials portfolio includes sealing, potting and adhesive systems based on polyurethane, epoxy and silicone as well as silane-modified polymers. On the machinery side, Rampf develops automated mixing and dispensing technology for reactive polymer systems. This combination of reactive resins and processing technology is one of the group's four core business areas.

Rampf employs around 900 people and has an international presence with locations including Germany, the United States, Canada, China and Japan.
