Hasco: New Solutions for Tool and Mould Making

At Fakuma 2026, Hasco will present new and further-developed solutions for tool and mould making. The focus will be on components for mould construction and hot runner technology, as well as digital solutions for design and process support. Other key topics include process reliability, temperature control and energy efficiency.

New Components for Mould Construction and Temperature Control
In the Mould Base segment, Hasco will present, among other products, the Z084/… centring unit with linear ball bushing. It is designed for the precise centring of mould plates. Tight tolerances and a ball cage are intended to ensure accurate alignment of the plates while reducing the risk of damage to mould inserts. The aim is to reduce scrap, rework and downtime caused by centring errors.

For temperature control, the company will showcase a temperature control filter with a screen insert in addition to new hose variants. The filter retains contaminants in the temperature control circuit, helping to protect the mould and peripheral equipment against deposits and contamination. Constant flow rates are intended to contribute to stable mould temperatures and therefore reproducible process conditions.

Another new addition to the product range is the Z2601/… high-performance grease. It is designed for lubricating ejectors, pillars, slides and other moving and sliding components in injection moulding and stamping tools. The lubricant can also be used in food industry applications.

Hot Runner Technology for Small Shot Weights and Electrical Testing
Hot runner technology is another key focus of Hasco’s trade fair presence. In the field of control technology, Hasco will showcase various connector systems for the H1210/… wiring tester. These can be used to test electrical connections in hot runner moulds.

With the Single Shot H63../…, the company is also introducing a new single nozzle for small injection-moulded parts. The version with a diameter of 25 mm is designed for low shot weights and is also suitable for processing engineering plastics. A titanium head is intended to limit heat losses and thereby improve the nozzle’s energy efficiency.

Hasco will also present the H5055/… perforated filter. Filters in hot runner systems are designed to retain contaminants in the polymer melt, but can also cause additional pressure losses. The new perforated filter is designed to reduce shear and pressure loss. This is intended to minimise any impact on the mechanical properties of the processed polymer.

CAD Data to Be Available via 3Dfindit in Future
In addition to its mechanical components, Hasco is expanding its digital solutions for design and mould engineering. From Fakuma 2026 onwards, the company’s CAD data is also expected to be available via Cadenas’ 3Dfindit platform.

By integrating product data into the CAD search and configuration system, designers can select components and transfer the corresponding data directly into their design environment. Configurators assist in selecting suitable variants and providing different data formats.

With the addition of this platform, Hasco is complementing its existing digital tools and assistants. The aim is to provide consistent access to product and design data for different CAD environments and requirements in tool and mould making.
