![]() ![]() Gefran developed its IL melt pressure sensors with IO-Link for connected manufacturing – (Photo: Gefran). For melt pressure measurement, the automation specialist will showcase sensors from its “ILM” series featuring an IO-Link interface. The devices cover pressure measurement ranges of up to 2,000 bar and are designed for high-temperature applications. In addition to process values, the digital interface provides supplementary diagnostic and operating data. This is intended to help detect load peaks and prevent unplanned machine downtime. For controlling thermal processes, Gefran will present its “GRP-H” single-phase solid-state relay. Control commands, alarms and power consumption data can be transmitted via IO-Link and evaluated collectively. The “Max” IoT platform consolidates real-time machine data in a database and analyzes it using software modules. Dashboards display energy consumption, equipment performance, key performance indicators, alarms and machine status, among other information. Another focus of Gefran’s presence at Fakuma will be the retrofitting of existing machines. Its modular “G-Mation” automation platform provides application templates for extrusion, blow molding and injection molding. It can be used with electric, hydraulic and hybrid machine types. The “G-Mation P6” controller supports Docker technologies, enabling additional applications to be deployed on installed machines. The platform is therefore suitable for both new equipment and retrofit projects. Fakuma 2026 Friedrichshafen, Germany October 12–16, 2026 Hall A7, Booth 7011 More information: www.gefran.com |
