Wittmann Group: AIM4Help Adds Voice-Enabled Assistance for Injection Molding

At Fakuma 2026, the Wittmann Group will unveil an enhanced version of its digital assistance system, AIM4Help. The application supports users with technical questions relating to the company’s injection molding machines, robots and peripheral equipment. With the latest release, users can now submit queries by voice as well as by text.

AIM4Help is designed as a digital first-level support solution for the operation of injection molding systems. It provides product information and assists users with tasks such as entering process parameters, programming robot sequences and troubleshooting. In the event of a malfunction, the system can suggest possible causes and recommend corrective measures. For new installations, it can also guide users step by step through individual procedures.

The system can be accessed directly from the control interfaces of the respective machines and devices. A QR code displayed there enables users to open AIM4Help on a smartphone or tablet. The new version processes spoken as well as written queries. It is multilingual and, as a rule, responds in the same language in which the question was asked.

According to Wittmann, the system’s knowledge base includes product descriptions, technical documentation, tables, and analyses of faults and their causes gathered over the course of the company’s history. It also incorporates internal documents that are not publicly available online. New and further-developed products are to be added to the knowledge base on an ongoing basis.

AIM4Help is intended to provide round-the-clock access and is aimed in particular at handling recurring technical questions during day-to-day production. In this way, it complements conventional technical support by serving as an automated first point of contact for operating, process and troubleshooting issues.

At Fakuma 2026, the Wittmann Group will demonstrate the new version of AIM4Help on its injection molding machines and robots on display.
