At Fakuma 2026, Enneatech AG will present new PA66 compounds for engineering applications in the automotive industry. The materials contain 30 to 50 percent post-consumer recyclate (PCR), with the remaining polymer content derived from post-industrial recyclate (PIR). The polymer fraction is therefore based entirely on recycled feedstock. According to the company, selected grades meet specific automotive OEM requirements and can be tailored to individual customer specifications. The portfolio includes impact-modified, heat-stabilized and hydrolysis-resistant grades reinforced or filled with glass fibers or minerals. Filler contents range from 15 to 50 percent. Enneatech states that corresponding compounds are already being used in a range of automotive applications. In parallel, the company is working with the Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability LBF on new recycling and compounding solutions for engineering polyamides. Alongside the new PCR-based PA66 compounds, Enneatech will showcase PA6 and PA66 compounds from its PIR-based "Entron eco" product range. One example is "Entron eco B GF15 BK", a recycled PA6 compound containing 15 percent glass-fiber reinforcement for automotive applications. The material has been tested by SGS in accordance with selected automotive industry specifications. These tests include low-temperature impact resistance according to VCS 1212.019, heat-aging resistance according to VW 50125, flammability according to TL 1010 and emission behavior according to VW 50180. According to Enneatech, the corresponding SGS test reports are available. For "Entron eco B GF15 BK", the company reports an impact strength of more than 85 kJ/m² and a notched impact strength of more than 12 kJ/m² at 23°C. At -40°C, the material is said to retain values of more than 40 kJ/m² and more than 6 kJ/m² respectively. For its PA6 and PA66 regranulates and compounds, Enneatech provides product-specific environmental performance data and publishes life-cycle assessments and environmental product declarations. For secondary PA66, a published product carbon footprint indicates emissions of approximately 160 kg CO2 equivalents per 1,000 kg of material. The assessment covers the process steps from receipt of the raw materials through to storage and loading of the granulate. Environmental product declarations are also available for PA6 and PA66 product families. The company has prepared a sustainability report in accordance with the GRI Standards and points to its Platinum rating from EcoVadis. Enneatech also supports the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals. The new PA66 compounds, together with further PA6 and PA66 recycled materials, will be presented at Fakuma 2026.
