NPE 2027 Registration Opens

The Plastics Industry Association has opened registration for NPE 2027, which will take place from May 3–7, 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

More than 51,000 trade visitors and 2,200 exhibitors from over 130 countries are expected. The exhibition area will cover around 102,000 square meters.

Held every three years, NPE covers major segments of the plastics value chain. For 2027, the event structure has been revised and will include five technology zones focusing on bottles and packaging, manufacturing services, materials, moldmaking, and recycling and sustainability.

A new “Sustainability Park” will showcase technologies and concepts for plastics circularity. Around 9,200 square meters will be dedicated to live demonstrations of recycling technologies.

The organizers have also announced more than 140 technical and educational events. The Society of Plastics Engineers’ Antec conference will be integrated into the technical program, while guided show-floor tours will focus on selected industry topics. More than 400 companies are expected to exhibit at NPE for the first time.

Visitors can choose between three registration options: “Expo,” “Expo+,” and “Expo+ One-Day.” Members of the Plastics Industry Association and the Society of Plastics Engineers will benefit from shared member rates. During the early-bird period, Expo admission is free for members, while non-members receive discounted rates. The early-bird deadline is January 22, 2027.

The Society of Plastics Engineers will also contribute more strongly to the technical program, covering topics such as processing, recycling, materials, and plastics engineering. The paid Expo+ options include additional technical sessions, educational content, and networking opportunities.

With its expanded technology zones and large-scale recycling demonstrations, NPE 2027 will place a strong focus on production technology, materials, recycling, and the circular economy.

NPE is one of the world’s largest plastics trade shows and a key industry event for the North American market.
