Alpla to Open New Plastic Bottle Plant in North Las Vegas

Alpla is expanding its manufacturing footprint in the United States with a new plastic packaging facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Located at the Craig Road Logistics Center, the plant will cover around 13,000 square metres and is scheduled to begin production in spring 2027.

Extrusion blow moulding production
The new facility will produce plastic bottles using extrusion blow moulding technology. It will serve customers in the food, beverage, healthcare, cosmetics and household care industries, while also providing additional capacity for future customer projects.

The North Las Vegas plant will further strengthen Alpla’s production network in the western United States. Its location close to major transport routes and regional distribution networks is expected to improve supply to customers across the western US and enhance the company’s regional logistics structure.

Second production site in the western US
According to Alpla, the new facility will be the company’s second production site in the western United States. Once operational, it will bring the total number of Alpla locations in the US to 19. The North Las Vegas plant is expected to create 36 new jobs.

The investment forms part of Alpla’s broader expansion of its North American manufacturing network, with a focus on increasing plastic bottle production capacity and strengthening its regional presence in the US market.
