Meusburger has assembled a range of components for injection molds used in cleanroom environments. The portfolio includes mold plates, mold components and hot runner systems. The coordinated product range is intended to reduce interfaces during mold design and procurement. Key technical priorities include minimizing wear-related particle generation, corrosion and leakage while ensuring consistent, repeatable production of injection-molded parts. Meusburger is showcasing its solutions for cleanroom injection molding at Fakuma 2026.

Low-Wear Mold Components and Corrosion-Resistant Mold Steels
For moving mold components and parts subject to wear, the range includes diamond-like carbon (DLC)-coated components. The coating has a low coefficient of friction and is designed to reduce wear and particle generation. The portfolio also includes stainless steel mold components and stainless steel mold temperature control components. Low-leakage temperature control solutions are intended to minimize coolant leakage.

Corrosion-resistant mold steels 1.2083 (ESU/H), 1.2085 and 1.2316 are available as plates and bars. Their high chromium content contributes to corrosion resistance. Material selection depends on the specific requirements for hardness, machinability and surface finish. According to the company, plates and bars in these steel grades are available from stock.

Valve Gate Systems for Hot Runner Applications
For hot runner applications, Meusburger offers valve gate systems that enable controlled opening and closing of the gates. These systems are designed to provide consistent gating conditions and repeatable molded-part quality. They are also suitable for high-cavitation molds and short cycle times. According to the company, pneumatically or servo-electrically actuated versions allow oil-free operation, reducing the risk of contamination from hydraulic fluids.
