![]() ![]() APR option (Actuation Plate Ready) for hot runner systems: Valve pins can be connected to the actuation plate and adjusted easily, reliably and precisely - (Photo: Incoe). With actuation plate operation, all valve pins move together, ensuring that the valve-gate nozzles open and close synchronously. This configuration is also suitable for molds with tight nozzle spacing or narrow nozzle pitches. Incoe provides the required dimensions, technical data and design specifications for the actuation plate and mold plates to support mold design and manufacturing. Individual Valve Pin Adjustment from Outside Each valve pin holder incorporates a mechanism for individually adjusting the position of the corresponding valve pin. To make an adjustment, the valve pin locking mechanism is first released. The respective valve pin can then be positioned from outside using the supplied tool and subsequently locked in place again. The APR option thus combines the mechanical actuation of all valve-gate nozzles with the ability to adjust individual valve pins independently. Incoe has been developing hot runner systems for plastics injection molding since 1958. According to the company, it operates manufacturing facilities in the USA, Brazil, Germany, Singapore and China, as well as a service network spanning more than 45 countries. Its European subsidiary was established in 1975. The systems are used in industries including automotive, electronics, packaging and medical technology.
