At Fakuma 2026, Moretto is presenting its patented “Loadmatik” granule conveying system. Designed for centralized material conveying systems, the solution automatically determines conveying parameters and adjusts them during operation. According to the Italian equipment manufacturer, the system uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning technologies.Three components for control and regulation “Loadmatik” combines the “One Wire 6 Plus” control server, “X-Loader” material receivers and the “KruiseKontrol” dynamic speed control system. “One Wire 6 Plus” monitors conveying parameters, coordinates system components and supports multi-zone configurations. According to the manufacturer, the server can manage up to 80 users. The “X-Loader” receivers use integrated “Sentry+” technology to collect loading data and make it available for continuous process control. “KruiseKontrol” adjusts the conveying speed according to operating pressures and current material demand. Automatic adjustment of conveying parameters Once the material source and conveying destination have been selected, the control system calculates the required conveying parameters, regardless of the conveying distance and the quantity of material transported. According to Moretto, manual configuration is largely limited to a few inputs, particularly the material type and destination. Self-learning algorithms continuously evaluate granule velocity, operating pressures, conveying line emptying times and receiver fill levels. These data are used to determine conveying cycles and optimize energy consumption according to demand. Controlling the material velocity is intended to ensure gentler conveying and prevent the formation of string-like plastic deposits, commonly known as “angel hair”. At the same time, abrasion and wear on pipelines and components are expected to decrease. Moretto anticipates fewer unplanned maintenance operations and lower energy consumption as a result. However, the company's announcement does not provide quantified figures for potential savings, throughput increases or maintenance costs. Moretto has been developing and manufacturing automation technology for plastics processing since 1980, including equipment for conveying, dosing, drying, temperature control and process cooling. According to the company, it operates five production sites and ten sales subsidiaries and maintains a sales network covering more than 70 countries.
