Kiefel opens China Office

As of early 2008, the Freilassing (Germany)-based company KIEFEL GMBH (www.kiefel.de) is represented by its own sales office in China. The KIEFEL China Office is embedded in the structure of the Brückner Group, which has been successfully operating in China for several years as Brueckner Machinery Technical Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

The mission of the KIEFEL China Office in Shanghai is to help open up the country’s great market potential. KIEFEL plans in particular to intensify its efforts to serve the automotive sector and packaging industry. A main focus of the activities of this new representative presence of KIEFEL has been the Chinaplas 2008 trade fair in Shanghai, where KIEFEL successfully exhibited its wares and services, along with other companies in the Brückner Group, using a jointly run stand. Special attention has been paid by the visitors to the high-efficiency automatic pressure forming machines KMD Speedformer and KTR Thermorunner.
