HT Troplast / profine: Albrecht Lange new Managing Director of profine Group

The supervisory board of HT Troplast GmbH (profine Group, www.profine-group.com) has appointed Albrecht Lange (42, Photo) as Managing Director taking effect August 4, 2008. In this position, he will have global responsibility for Sales and Marketing.

"Albrecht´s international skills and experience will be a great addition to the Board of Management and he will be responsible for Sales and Marketing on a worldwide scale.

Before joining profine, Albrecht Lange has held the position of Managing Director Black & Decker GmbH with responsibility for their industrial- and consumer businesses under the Black & Decker, DEWALT, and Piranha brands. As member of the European Executive Board of Black & Decker, he was responsible for the successful expansion in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe and achieved significant performance improvements in several sales subsidiaries.

Prior to this, he was with American Standard Inc. where he was Vice President Sales and Marketing for Fittings Europe and held several other leadership positions including General Manager of newly acquired subsidiaries.

He completed an MA in business studies in Germany and UK and holds an MBA from Warwick Business School.
