plasticker.com: Online marketplace for the plastics industry

The plasticker industry portal (www.plasticker.com) is presenting itself at the Fakuma 2008 trade show on the common stand of the ministry for trade, medium and small sized enterprises and energy of the state of North Rhine Westphalia (Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Mittelstand und Energie des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, www.wirtschaft.nrw.de). The focus of the online portal is the B2B marketplace for raw materials and the machine trading exchange, as well as the industry job market and an exchange for trade representatives. Daily news on the exchange about the market, companies and products, professional articles, raw material prices and market data and the comprehensive events calendar offers relevant trade information for decision makers in the industry.

There are regularly more than 2,000 offers and requests to be found in the raw material exchange (granulate, compounds, ground materials, flakes, recyclate), as well as around 1,000 in the machine exchange (injection moulding machines, extrusion lines, shredding and granulation technology, ancillary equipment, etc.). The job market reaching specialists and managers in the industry by bringing a total of 12 trade portals together.

The bilingual plastics portal (German and English) has become firmly established since its formation in September 2001.
